4 Steps
4 Steps Response Guide
This campaign focuses on presenting the Gospel as good news that offers eternal life. The core message explains God's plan of salvation—that all people are affected by sin, but God provided a complete remedy through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. As OMs, we want to help Contacts to understand this news, share with them the gift of forgiveness, and invite them to receive eternal life through faith in Jesus.
Target Audience
The primary audience is spiritually curious individuals who have encountered the ad's message about good news and eternal life. We have three different versions of the ad that run in Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. Most of this audience is from outside of the US, and English may be their second language. Contacts are looking for clear, direct answers about salvation.

Suggested Verses and Bible Studies
Sin and God's Remedy:
Focus on Romans 3:23 ("for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God") and Romans 6:23 ("For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord").
Discuss the universal need for a Savior and the free gift of eternal life through Jesus.
Salvation is by Faith (How to Get It):
Explore Ephesians 2:8-9 ("For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.").
Talk about trusting in Jesus' finished work on the cross, rather than one's own efforts or steps.
New Life and Peace (The Result):
Discuss 2 Corinthians 5:17 ("Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!") and John 14:27 ("Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you... Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.").
Emphasize the transformation and lasting peace that comes with a new relationship with Jesus.
Jesus as the Way:
Study John 14:6 ("Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'").
Focus on Jesus as the only path to knowing God personally and receiving eternal life.
The Invitation:
Look at Revelation 3:20 ("Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.").
Discuss the idea that receiving eternal life is a personal choice to open the door to Jesus.
